How do I change or update my Apple account password?

Update your account password using your Apple device (recommended):

1. Access your settings via a gray cog icon (on iPhone homescreen).
   • Access settings via the Apple Menu, then select ‘System Settings’ (on Mac).
2. Select your name.
3. Scroll to ‘Sign-In & Security’, then select ‘Change Password’.
   • Complete the steps indicated by Apple.

Update your account password using someone else’s Apple device:

1. Download the Apple Support App: VISIT APPLE APPS
2. Scroll to ‘Support Tools’.
3. Select ‘Reset Password’, then ‘Help Someone Else’.
4. Type your Apple address email address or phone number.
5. Select ‘Continue’, then follow Apple’s directions.
